God and the Creation

Honey is a product used all over the world. Here are some:

• Honey is used in Honey
•  Honey is used to sweeten things
• Honey is used in tea
• Honey is used in Candy

In Psalms 8, God's people celebrate him in praise and truth and singing.

Phil the pig eats 35 apples a week. How many apples did he eat in a year (52 weeks in a year)?

Here is how to get stung by a bee:
- throw rocks at a beehive
- dump a bucket of water in a bee
- move your hands wildly when a bee is near
- scream when a bee lands on your shoulder

Here is how NOT  to get stung by a bee:

- NEVER annoy a bee
- Don't move when a bee lands on you shoulder or this WILL happen....

Have you ever wondered how honey is made? Everyone knows that bees make it... but how?


Step 1:After a bee gathers nectar it returns back to the hive and vomits the nectar into the mouths of other bees.
Step 2: The bees then mix the nectar with their saliva.
Step 3: Then the nectar/saliva mixture into a cell and waits for it to dry.
Step 4: Finally the honey is dry and is sealed until needed.

Some insects defend themselves from predators with poison. If a bird eats a monarch butterfly, a foul taste will fill its mouth. How do you know that the insect is poisoned? They are usually in bright colors (orange,yellow,red).

An ants life is hard. It possible that this day will be your last. Here are risks of being an ant:
- ants pick on weak colony, so you always have to beaware
- food is hard to find
- homes can be destroyed
- you can get lost

BEWARE OF THE HAIRY CATERPILLAR



If you seed a hairy caterpillar don't touch!!!
 Some hairy caterpillars hairs have a annoying chemical, that makes you eat! Be careful when you see it, and if you are stung....

You know how a skunk will, if it feel threaded, baths you in  in stink? Well, there is a simalar insect. Behold....
 THE STINKBUG!!!
Touch this bug and it's the bath tub for you!

Why do you hide yourself?

Camouflage is how some insects live. When the see an enemy coming, they blend in with the background. Even the army uses camouflage!

HOW?

Search your back (or) front yard! Look under leaves, in the grass, on branches...anywhere! Once you find one (or more!) put the eggs in a box or jar and keep them warm.

Catch a bug. Put lots of plants in its cage. Also, put the cage in a warm spot. Insects are cold blooded, meaning if their surroundings are cold, they are cold! Name your bug and as I go through this section, study your bug!
