Flying Squirrels

Flying Squirrels are amazing creatures. I'm sure you have heard of them. Do you think they know how to fly?
NO! Of course not. Then why are they called flying squirrels? Because they have an extra flap of skin, so they can glide form branch to branch!

Bob the Explorer (This story is wonderfully complicated!)

This was it! I had invented a time machine! I looked at what I called "Bob Jr" and pressed the record button. "The year is 2058. I am about to travel to the year 2013!"
I stepped into the portal and ZIP! I stood in front of a house, on 1221 2nd street. And presto! I slowly opened the door and saw a woman taking a nap on a couch to my left and a dog at her legs. I could hear someone in the basement of the house, and from the huffing and puffing, I figured she was exercising. And then I saw a boy writing on the computer. The screen said:

Spider Web

To us. a spider web is delicate, easy broken. But in the insect world, a thread of spider web is like iron. Only the Dragon fly is able to brake, and that is rare! In Australia, there is a spider who, if you brake his web, will jump on you and inject deadly venom.

Climing Geckos

Some lizards are good climbers but some, like the climbing gecko, are made for it!

Geckos have tiny, tiny, tiny hairs on their toes. They're called setae. These hairs can stick to the molecules that make up a surface! Amazing, isn't it. Scientist try and try to copy setae, but it can only stick once or twice, then it wears out!

The Great Pig Races

On Monday, my family went to the South Dakota State Fair. Before we left, we went to a Pig Derby.
Here are some answers to some questions.

What is a Pig Derby? Pigs race around a mini race track.
Is it fun to watch? Personally, I thought it was very enjoyable.
Does it cost much? The one I was at was free.

MAY THE BEST PIG WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
